The offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride was especially impressed

He has returned 48 kickoffs for a franchise-record 1,321 yards to go with his 41 rushing attempts for 211 yards and 3 touchdowns. When Bradshaw sustained a sprained knee last Sunday to accompany earlier foot problems, Wilson led the Giantsin rushes for the first time with 13. He turned two of those into touchdowns, showing excellent power on a 6-yard effort and the speed that sets him apart on a 52-yard jaunt.

The offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride was especially impressed with the 52-yard run. He noted that Wilson was "able to take what would've been an 8- to 15-yard gain and take it to the house."

Giants guard Chris Snee, in his ninth season, noted how valuable Wilson's game-breaking ability could be at this stage of the long season.
