As Olympic coach of the women's team, it's vital that Geddert turns the page as well. He knows that.
"I told her, we're going to handle this with as much class as we've always handled the victories," he said. "There's no excuses."
Geddert, standing near a curtain separating the media mixed zone from the athletes' area, lifted his cell phone to show the messages that he already had received.
"I'm already getting excuses left and right, right here," he said. "There's no excuses. The job's not done yet. We got beat. And we're gong to walk out with our heads held high. And on Tuesday, I think you're going to see her looking for redemption."
